hi
i have 2 XMATCH - INDEXes .... finding results from 2 spreadsheets with costs
i'd like to find an easy way to combine results in one column (and keep column color)
with this example - with Z & AA being the 'master"
move all results into AC
(results (INDEX) in Y & AA)
move results from AA to AC
but - if the is an N/A in Z but a value in X take Y and put into AC

make sense?
thanks =)

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
Mr. Excel has an add in called xl2bb (link below), can you please use that to post a mini sheet of your DATA. If you cannot then please post your data as a table.

Asking the forum to recreate your scenario is time consuming and they may have typos that cause further problems.

Also please post some expected results.

You need not give all data, just enough so the forum understands your data structure and objective.
