Command button is Clicked

How would you write code in a module to say that the user form command button Is Clicked?

Use a public boolean.
In the commandbutton1_click event you give this boolean the value TRUE.
In your module you can use the public boolean.

Sorry to be thick but how does it work with a boolean

You would need to set some variable in the CommandButton's Click event to record when/if that happened. But that code would be in the userform's code module.

It might be that a ToggleButton would be useful to your project than a Command Button.

Public ButtonClicked As Boolean

Sub test()
    UserForm1.Show
    If ButtonClicked Then
        MsgBox "Button clicked"
    Else
        MsgBox "Button not clicked"
    End If
End Sub

In Userform:

Private Sub CommandButton1_Click()
  ButtonClicked = True
  UserForm1.Hide

I've watched this posting. What is the purpose of doing things this way.
Why not just put:
UserForm1.Hide
In the Button

When user clicks button sheet is hidden
