I have a need to compare a cell that is formatted in [m]:ss to one that is formatted in integer minutes ("Number" with 0 Decimal places).

The comparative statement will be in an IF function.

What would the best way to go about this be?

Thanks for any help.

Thanks. For the second time in less than a week, I am reminded that the fundamental time unit in Excel is the day.
I learn and relearn and am reminded of things nearly every day.

In this situation I think you still need to round down or use the INT function to get exact minutes per your requirement.
