I need to create a conditional format in B1 to make the cell red when cell A1 = isblank. The problem is that A1 has a formula in it that returns a blank cell based on another cell. So, although A1 is now blank, it is due to the result of a formula, that appears to be stopping the conditional format from working? Appreciate any help....

Excel Facts

Wildcard in VLOOKUP
Use =VLOOKUP("Apple*" to find apple, Apple, or applesauce
In the CF use a formula & use
Excel Formula:
=A1=""
