Converting to date n weekday

Good morning everybody !

In a1 i have 04052023 in b1 i put formula this way =date(right(a1,4),mid(a1,3,2),left(a1,2))&" "&text(a1,"dddd") to get this result 04/05/2023 thursday but it didnt work. Instead i get results ##########################

Try either:

*1
--(text function)
to convert it to be real value
For ex:
date(right+0,mid+0,left+0)
