Hi Everyone,
I'm about to build a masive dashboard it will ahve about 200 shapes fior headers,
to save time i'd like a macro that when i click it takes a copy of header1 the renames it a "Header" + the next number
so if i had 20 shapes called Header** this would be header21
please help if you can
Thanks
Tony

Excel Facts

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
For someone else to write a macro for you based on that description would require a lot of guessing. Use the macro recorder to record yourself copying header1, pasting it, then renaming the pasted copy it to "Header21" (or whatever). Post the macro recorder code here, and perhaps that will provide enough information allow others to help you massage it into a more general macro to do what you want.
