Hi

I've read a few threads but I still can't get it to work.

I have a colomn of dates C1:C1000 which represent when a trouble ticket has been created and they are formatted like 01/06/2021, what I'm trying to do is count how many times a month a trouble ticket has been created. I tried using this:

=countifs(Sheet1!C1:C1000, ">=01/06/2021", Sheet1!C1:C1000, "<=31/06/2021")

But it will always give a zero.

All I'm interested really is how many tickets were open in each month, i.e

January = 1
Febraury =5

etc

I wonder where I'm going wrong.

Cheers

How about
Excel Formula:
=COUNTIFS(Sheet1!C1:C1000, ">="&DATE(2021,6,1), Sheet1!C1:C1000, "<"&DATE(2021,7,1))
