Good afternoon - I'm along time excel user and have come across a perplexing problem. I have recently moved from an old MacBook air to a new one. I'm running VMware 8.1 to enable windows virtually, windows 7, and excel 2007 on both machines.

In excel, in windows on the new machine, I cannot get control+down (ctrl+down) to go to the end of the range. The cursor stays on the selected cell, nothing else happens. However, I am able to use ctrl+up, ctrl+right, and ctrl+left without issue.
All four arrow keys work properly on the old machine.
  • Scroll lock is off
  • F8 ext is off
  • Panes and windows are not frozen
  • The down key itself will move the cell down as it should which tells me there is not an issue with the keyboard.

Does anyone have any ideas on what the issue may be?

Thanks kindly for your assistance,
Brian

Ambidextrous Undo
Undo last command with Ctrl+Z or Alt+Backspace. If you use the Undo icon in the QAT, open the drop-down arrow to undo up to 100 steps.
You are most welcome Brian. Glad I could have helped.
