I am trying to seperate data in a cell. I have the data seperated in G2 as two numbers with a coma inbetween (83,85). Problem is that excel will not do the text to column function unless i double click the cell and hit the backspace button on the cell itself. It is like the data is hidden. The cells show the number then the comma and the other number is underneath.

Excel Facts

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.

Can you share a screen shot of your data?
