Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.

not sure what you are after here
But some of the entries have a SPACE after like
"Churchella "
in column B
so wont be seen as a dupicate as column A "Churchella" does not not have a space at the end and so NOT a duplicate

you may need to clean up the data - Or use a formula in conditional fromatting which has TRIM()

But not 100% sure what you are after - just testing for duplicates in column B ? that match A or comparing both B & A

also what version of excel are you applying to - Now a lot of difference between version 2021 and version 2016, considerably more functions making things much easier in 2021

worth just having in 1 version in profile as to match the version you need to use any solutions in
