I'd like to split the data in a single column range into multiple columns starting at a certain cell and with x number of new columns.

I don't want to split the actual text.

I'm sure that I have seen a function to do this.

Thanks

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.

I need to take the use the values from column A and copy them into the two grids as shown. Height of data in column A can vary and number of columns to copy the data
to may vary.

Thanks

Yes there is a function in Excel 365 that let you choose how many columns or rows you want to spill data to. Can't recall immediately as I don't use Excel 365, I just revert. Thanks for your patience

I knew that there was a suitable function but I could not think of it. Thanks.
