Hi,

is it possible to adjust the =SEQUENCE() formula in a way that only every second row is filled?
I already tried =IF(ISEVEN(ROW());SEQUENCE(10,1)). However I receive the #SPILL Error because it would start anew every time the condition is met. Does anyone have an idea on how to approach this?
I would like to find a solution without VBA.

Thank you very much in advance!

Excel Facts

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
Hi all,
Another option without LET could be:

= IF( ISEVEN( SEQUENCE( 10 ) ),
SEQUENCE( 10 ),
"" )

The two above, I like.

Solution
Hi & welcome to MrExcel.
is it possible to adjust the =SEQUENCE() formula in a way that only every second row is filled?
If you want the alternate rows to be empty, so that you can manually put values in them, then no it's not.
