Excel Function into VBA Code contains "" and &

Thanks in advance for your assistance. I would like to turn the following function into a VBA Code, but having trouble because of the "" and &. Let me know if you can do it.

=YEAR(Ai)&"."&TEXT(MONTH(Ai),"00")&"."&TEXT(DAY(Ai), "00")

i is for the cell number as it goes through a loop for i = 6 to LastRow

I find the LastRow and then it will run that many times.

Date as text in active worksheet? Try (test in a throw away copy of yout workbook):

Sub Test()
Dim i as integer, LastRow as integer
LastRow=...
For i=6 to LastRow
cells(i,1)=format(cells(i,1),"YYYY.MM.DD")
Next i
End Sub
