Hi
Using controls in excel with very basic knowledge i have populated a list box by using the row source property and it populates fine
now i wish to select an item in that list box to open a text box but when i use if listbox1.listindex=0 (first item in list) then textbox1.visible-true it does nothing

Excel Facts

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
It wouldn't be .visible minus true. It should be .visible = True
If that's not the issue because you are using = sign then copy/paste your actual code because writing it out in a post is not a good idea. If you post more than a line or two, please use code tags (use vba button located on posting toolbar) to maintain code indentation and readability.

Solution
Glad I could help. Typically if someone gives you a solution you don't mark your own reply as the solution? .

The marked solution has been changed accordingly. In your future questions, please mark the post as the solution that actually answered your question, instead of your feedback message as it will help future readers. No further action is required for this thread.
