Hi,

I'm foxed...

I start with ~31k rows. Perform a merge with left join and exact match of rows (all rows).
After the merge but before expaning the new column I still have ~31k rows...
However, when I expand the new column my number of rows goes up to ~50k.

I've never had this with a merge before so completely confused as to why that should happen?

Would be grateful for any thoughts - are there circumstances where this could happen?

Thanks

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
