FILTER Function return top n values

I am seeking a method using the FILTER function to return the top 10 values, I figured there should be a way to set this criteria in the include argument within the function however have not found any approaches that are effective thus far.

Perhaps you could try using LARGE?

=FILTER(A1:A100, A1:A100>=LARGE(A1:A100,10))
