Football game play by play help

Looking for a faster way to take accurate play by play stats for our 8-man high school football team. I do all the stat analysis for the team, using the program to make drive sheets, down by down breakdowns, player stats and time of possession. This all takes most of the week to to do, because I work for a cabinet company also.
I write everything out by hand than type it in as fast as I can and then start my analysis. Any help to make this process fast would be much appreciated. Thanks
