Hi all,

I am trying to get a Custom Format for numbers to be formatted with $M or $K and found this Custom Format: [>999999]0.0,,\M;[>999]0,K;0 which automatically does this based on the cell value. This works only for positive numbers but does NOT work for negative numbers, I also need to add a $ to it - see example below:

Number Input into Cell Result of Custom Format
2500000 2.5M
800000 800K

How can I get this to work for Negative numbers & also, I want to add a $ in front of the 2.5M & 800K?

Does anyone have a solution?

Thanks
