Formula Help

I need help fixing the formula in my excel sheet. It currently reads as follows:

=IF([@[Date of Entry]]="","",TODAY()-[@[Date of Entry]])

The problem I am having is I need that cell to stop counting when I input a date into the cell named "Discharge Date" in column Q. Can someone help me update the formula above to stop counting when a date is placed in the Discharge Date column.

You could try this...

=IF([@[Date of Entry]]="","",IF([@[Discharge Date]]="",TODAY()-[@[Date of Entry]],[@[Discharge Date]]-[@[Date of Entry]]))
