I have the following formula below

However , I get a message "Formula is missing an opening or closing parenthesis

Code:
 =if(a2="","",IFERROR(INDEX('C:\My Documents\[Stock Report.xlsm]Shirts'!$A:$A,MATCH(A2,'C:\My Documents\[Stock Report.xlsm]Shirts'!$I:$I,0)),"815748")

If I remove this part of the formula
Code:
 =if(a2="",""
, then the formula has no errors

Kindly amend my formula

Excel Facts

Wildcard in VLOOKUP
Use =VLOOKUP("Apple*" to find apple, Apple, or applesauce
You need to add another ) to the end of your formula.
