I have a formula issue. I want to return three possible options First, Second or Other. This is what I have so far =IF(ISNUMBER(SEARCH("*1st Lien*", '[Book3] Column Name'!C10), "Second Lien", IF(ISNUMBER(SEARCH("*2nd Lien*", '[Book3] Column Name'!C10), "Second Lien", IF(ISNUMBER(SEARCH("*S*", '[Book3] Column Name'!C10), "Other", '''')

Excel Facts

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
