Hello

I am looking to see if there is a way to write a formula that would sum a set of cells in a column but only update the amount if another cell had Yes in it, if it had no it would not update the number.

for example

Cells F10 through F15 contain hard coded numbers, cell F6 has a formula to sum those cells if cell D6 has "Yes" in it. If it said "No" in cell D6 then it would not update the amount in cell F6. I am looking to do this for cells F6, F7 and F8 at anytime only one of these cells will need to be updated, the other two will keep the amount they currently have in them.

Is this possible?

Thank you

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
Hello

That did not work as it is assuming Yes is in cells D7:D13.

Yes will in this case is in D7 so what I need is cell F7 to update if any numbers in cells F10:F15 are changed. I need the numbers in cells F8 & F9 to stay the same as they have NO in cells D8 & D9

Thank you

We can try, I would prefer a formula if possible as I am not the one who will be using the workbook.

Thank you
