Hi.

I am creating a spreadsheet to workout the annual expenditure for a business.

I have a table which will hold all spends throughout the year, I would like to create another table so that the information is separated into monthly spends.

I have added an image of the spreadsheet so far. I have inputted dates to the side to help me with my formula, but I am not having any joy with getting the formula right.

I would like the formula to go into B2 for April and so on.

Thank you.

How to show all formulas in Excel?
Press Ctrl+` to show all formulas. Press it again to toggle back to numbers. The grave accent is often under the tilde on US keyboards.
I suggest that you investigate XL2BB for providing sample data to make it easier for helpers by not having to manually type out sample data to test with.

Something like this?

23 08 04.xlsm
AFGNOPQ
61/04/202330/04/2023506
71/04/20235001/05/202331/05/202323
815/04/202311/06/202330/06/202356
925/05/2023231/07/202331/07/20230
101/06/202356

Thank you for that, that worked perfectly.
