FV or something else?

Goal: I want to know the future value (FV) of an asset on day 30.

I have 1000 units of an asset.

The asset pays 1% per day.

So, 1000 units x 1% = 10 Units earned on day 1

BUT to claim that 1%, you have to give up 5% of the 10 units earned per day.

Therefore, 10 units x 5% = 0.5 units as a fee

10 units - 0.5 units = 9.5 units in profit on day 1

Therefore, 1000 original units + 9.5 unit profits for day 1 = 1009.5 units at the end of day 1

On day 2, 1009.5 units x 1% = 10.095 units earned on day 2

10.095 x 5% = 0.50475 units given back as a fee

10.095 - 0.50475 = 9.59025 units in profit on day 2

1009.5 from end of day 1 + 9.59025 profits = 1019.09025 at the end of day 2

((initial deposit x 1%)-((initial deposit x 1% x 5%)+initial deposit…but at day 30

What is my Future Value (FV) of my investment on day 30 expressed in a formula? I am not set on FV...just anything that works! Thanks! And I know I can just make 30 fields that just keep going but the overall goal is to take this out 3 years.

The power function will do that for you:

=F3*(POWER(1.0095,30))
