Is anyone familiar with Goal Seeker. I need to use it to determine the break even point. I have variable costs and fixed costs as well as the selling price of item. How do I use Goal Seeker to get the info?

Any help would be appreciated

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
Which parameter do you want to change to achieve break-even? This parameter must be a constant value and not based on formula in order for you to use goal seek.

Goal seek is pretty straightforward. Just set the cell where the net profit value is to 0 (zero) and set the BY CHANGING CELL to the parameter that is changeable.
