I have 4 excel sheets, cell A1 to cell A4 have some value on all 4 sheets. How I get max value of all four sheets by formula, without specify each sheet's name separately.

Any formula must reference the cell. And if on a different worksheet the worksheet must be identified.
But, if you're asking for say for consecutive worksheets in the workbook. Say you have six worksheets and want to get max of cells A2:A5 in the middle 4, you can try:
Excel Formula:
=MAX(Sheet2:Sheet5!A2:A5)

Same workbook, max value of sheet 1 to 4, range A1:A4 for all sheets

So, what is your new question? I just gave you the template of the answer in the earlier post.

And do you realize you have duplicate questions in the forum?
