Square and cube roots
The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).
Hi alethea. It depends upon what version of XL that U are using. But generally, put your time (x value) starting in A2 to A whatever. Place your Y values series 1 in B2 to B whatever. Place Y values series 2 in C2 to C whatever. Click and highlight all the values as if you were going to copy and paste the whole thing, select insert on the top ribbon and then select scatter chart. You can then select and format (name) the series and chart title as needed. HTH. Dave
