My mind has gone blank ahhhhhh

Requirement

8 columns A to H

G column dates are added

When a date is added the a:h row shades a certain colour

This to be the same for all further rows

Excel Facts

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
You just want columns A:H shaded a color when there is a date in column G?

If so, then you could use Conditional Formatting.
So you would just select all the rows/columns you would want to apply this to (let's say A2:H100 for this example), and enter in the following Conditional Formatting formula:
Excel Formula:
=$G2>0
and choose your desired formatting color.
