Hoping someone can help - Can I reverse engineer this spreadsheet.

At the moment I am putting together recipes for some teas at home and use the spreadsheet below to help make larger batches so I don't have to mix them each time.
Is there an easy way to scale up the recipe easily?
I have tried to note how it works.
Any help would be appreciated!
I have quite a few different types of tea and herbs so like mixing and matching and have a lot of blends I'd like to make as 1Kg at a time of.

If I'm reading this correctly, perhaps something like this:

Sheet1

Cell Formulas
Range	Formula
D5:D9	D5	=C5*C$2/SUM(C$5:C$9)
D11	D11	=SUM(D5:D9)

Work in g or kg, your choice. Just make sure the desired Quantity and the recipe quantities are in the same units.

I have never understood how to use $ in excel formulas so will have to look at them more after seeing yours.
