How to chart growth from data?

I have a list of data on when devices were added to my system. What I don't know is the total number of devices in the system at any given time. Say like monthly since the beginning. I have a unique identifier of each device if that matters as well beyond the date it was added. How would I take that data and chart growth from the first device added to the last? Basically looking at a line chart showing the upward trend over time of total devices in the system. Monthly bar charts showing monthly totals would be kind of cool also. Struggling with having a list of dates and how to use those to generate totals.

Below would be the data comma delimited since didn't see a way to upload a file:

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
Maybe this is what you you are after?
