Hello everyone, I'm new here. I'm a marine science grad student and one of our exercise is to compute the 1 day average of eastward and northward winds. I already have the data on an excel sheet (attached pic) but I honestly have no idea what formula to use on excel for this.

We were also tasked to compute for the wind stress and wind stress curl using the 1-day average of Eastward and Northward winds. I'm having a hard time doing this since I'm not very good at using excel.

I hope you can help me out. Very willing to learn. Thanks!

Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
I think you should explain to non marine science grad student what you need to calculate, how the request is related to the shown data and also should provide useable data, using XL2BB addin or sharing a real worksheet
