Hi All,

Cant seem to expand more on the statements using this IF statement so i've had to end it on "Check File Name"

Any help would be most appreciated in an alternative way of writing the statement

I=IF(OR(N2="Rimes"),CONCATENATE(C2,D2,".CSV"),IF((N2="FTSE"),CONCATENATE(C2,E2,".CSV"),IF((N2="Barclays"),CONCATENATE(C2,F2,".CSV"),IF((N2="Bloomberg"),CONCATENATE(C2,G2,".CSV"),IF((N2="Iboxx"),CONCATENATE(C2,H2,".CSV"),IF((N2="ICEBoAML"),CONCATENATE(C2,I2,".CSV"),IF((N2="Markit"),CONCATENATE(C2,J2,".CSV"),"Check File Name")))))))

Many thanks
Martin

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
If VBA is an option, you can create an custom user function to do what you want. I would use a CASE statement (as shown here: MS Excel: How to use the CASE Statement (VBA)).

If you are interested in that and need help, please list all your possible scenarios, and what you want to happen in each case.

How about like
Excel Formula:
=C2&IF(N2="Rimes",D2,IF(N2="FTSE",E2,IF(N2="Barclays",F2,IF(N2="Bloomberg",G2,IF(N2="Iboxx",H2,IF(N2="ICEBoAML",I2,IF(N2="Markit",J2,"")))))))&".CSV"
