Hi
I have a column on a sheet named "Totals" and I need to get values from other sheets. I don't want to use sheet names in a formula, as they can change. I am using this Indirect formula and I am getting a #REF! error. =INDEX(INDIRECT("Job1"),77)
The named range on Sheet2 is Job1.
All I want to do is get the value from the 77th row from a range named Job1
I would rather not use an Indirect function but ok if its the only way.
Thank you!

How can you automate Excel?
Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.
You cannot have a named range called Job1 as it is not a valid name.
If the name is Job_1 then you can use
Excel Formula:
=index(Job_1,77,1)
