Platform
  1. Windows
Target:
  • set the background color of a cell depending on the value
  • the color is defined in a range i.e can be changed by the user

Problem
I am using conditional formatting. All is easy and works as it should eg if cell A1 > B1 then format...
- the problem is that I do not want to use the standart fixed colors in the format field, I need to use the colors that the user defined

the rule is then
-> if A1 > B1 then color is the color of C1
I have a function to get the color or colorindex of C1) - but how do I set it in the conditional formatting?

many thanks!
