I have code written to insert a blank comment into the active cell. I was hoping there is a way to manipulate it to have the comment contain text from another cell. Here is what I have.

Sub CommentAddOrEdit()

Dim cmt As Comment
Set cmt = ActiveCell.Comment
If cmt Is Nothing Then
Set cmt = ActiveCell.AddComment
cmt.Text Text:=""
End If
cmt.Visible = True
cmt.Shape.Select
End Sub

Excel Facts

Fastest way to copy a worksheet?
Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging tab for Sheet1 to the right. Excel will make a copy of the worksheet.
What cell do you want to get the text from?

Ok, how about
VBA Code:
Sub CommentAddOrEdit()

Dim cmt As Comment
Set cmt = ActiveCell.Comment
If cmt Is Nothing Then
   Set cmt = ActiveCell.AddComment
   cmt.Text Range("C7").Value
End If
cmt.Visible = True
cmt.Shape.Select
End Sub
