I'm hoping someone can help me find a solution, if there is a solution.
I have a column of cells for the user to enter data in. The data can only include a value from a list, so I am using list data validation on the cells. The list is quite long, and I would prefer the user not have to have to scroll down through the list of 100s of possible values. Of course they can type them without relying on the list, but there are so many values that closely match each other that its very easy they can type an invalid value.
Is there a means that as the user startes typing, the list reduces as the user types more so that they can select from a shorter list based on the values as they type them, whether they select from the dropdown (of reduced values) or they can type to match what they see in the list as it narrows.
I hope that makes sense?
