Good morning
I have a large list of postcodes in a column, with 7 columns next to that with each day of the week listed as a Y or N if a delivery can be made to that postcode on that weekday.
I would like to set up a text box where you can type in the postcode, that then looks up the code in the postcode list and returns the value for what days delivery can be made.
For example, in the text box, AA1 1AA is typed in and then S M T W T F S gets returned as Y or N based on the post code.
I have included a couple of pics of what data i have and how I would like to present it.
Ideally without userforms, but open to it.
Thanks in advance!

Excel Facts

Add Bullets to Range
Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)
you can use a lookup
but I'm sure an easier way would be with filter - but off the top of my head quickly

try this

Book1
ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQR
1PostcodeSunmontueWedThuFriSatPcode lookupSunMonTuesWedThurFriSat
2Aynyynyyaynyynyy
3bnnynnyn
4cynyynyy
5
Sheet1
Cell Formulas
RangeFormula
L2:R2L2=INDEX(B$2:B$4,MATCH($K$2,$A$2:$A$4,0))

Note: Images are difficult to see , and also requires that I input all the data myself, which is very time consuming.

A SMALL sample spreadsheet, around 10-20 rows, would help a lot here, with all sensitive data removed, and expected results mocked up and manually entered, with a few notes of explanation.

MrExcel has a tool called “XL2BB” that lets you post samples of your data and will allow us to copy/paste your sample data into our Excel spreadsheets, saving a lot of time.

You can also test to see if it works ok, in the "Test Here" forum.

OR if you cannot get XL2BB to work, or have restrictions on your PC , then put the sample spreadsheet onto a share
I only tend to goto OneDrive, Dropbox or google docs , as I'm never certain of other random share sites and possible virus.
Please make sure you have a representative data sample and also that the data has been desensitised, remember this site is open to anyone with internet access to see - so any sensitive / personal data should be removed
