lookup and changing cell

Hi all,

i am looking for a script that dows the following.

lookup in all rows of column X if the cell contains text "xyz" then change the value of row/cell in kolom Y

i know i am using generic values but i have multiple values to be looked up and changed

hope that this makes al little sense.
