This macro worked pre Windows 11 but now only opens the notepad blank without the selected cells from Excel:

VBA Code:
Sub CopySelectionNotepad()
' Keyboard Shortcut: Ctrl+shift+q

With Application
Selection.Copy
Shell "Notepad.exe", 3
SendKeys "^v"
VBA.AppActivate .Caption
.CutCopyMode = False
End With
End Sub

Excel Facts

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
Can you please provide a little bit more of your script. I guess this is resolved before.

That is the entire script. Unlike above the issue is not that it won't save and close, the issue is that the script hasn't worked since transitioning from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
Notepad opens but the selected text is not copied & pasted to it.
