I have a macro to format the Font Name and size for a range on a particular sheet but the font is not changed when running the macro

Code:
 Sub Format_Statement()
Dim LR As Long

With Sheets("statement")
 LR = .Cells(.Rows.Count, "A").End(xlUp).Row

 With .Range("a1:E" & LR)
 .Font.Name = "Arial"
.Font.FontStyle = "Regular"
.Font.Size = 10
.Font.Bold = False

        End With
          End With

 End Sub

It would be appreciated if someone could test and amend my code

Excel Facts

Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.
Works fine for me !
The "statement" sheet isn't protected is it ??

Bit shorter
VBA Code:
Sub Format_Statement()
With Sheets("statement").Range("A1:E" & Cells(Rows.Count, "A").End(xlUp).Row)
        .Font.Name = "Arial"
        .Font.FontStyle = "Regular"
        .Font.Size = 10
        .Font.Bold = False
    End With
 End Sub
