Mail merge using excel data - only merge recent additions

Afternoon all,

I'm creating my first mail merge from excel into word. All has gone as planned. The data from excel is basically a list of names, addresses and another small piece of information.

However thinking ahead, as new data will be added to this spreadsheet most days, is there anyway of only mail merging records that haven't previously been merged?
