Hi everybody my name is Ian. I am new here so wondering if you can help me :)

I am working on a macro enabled master quotation database for our small but busy freight forwarding company. We only have three employees but we all work from home. I can find my way round excel but not an expert by any means. This database will be stored on Dropbox which all 3 employees have access to so they can raise a quote, and subsequent transport order and booking confirmation should we win the job.

So my database will have the following sheets (in bold), Customers (list of all my customers), Contractors (list of all my hauliers/agents), quotation calculations (this will be where all the costs, MOT (Method of Transport), Incoterms, etc etc will be added and from this sheet it will populate 3 others sheets. These sheets are Quotation, Transport Order (to be sent to the Contractor once a quote has been approved), Booking Confirmation (to be sent to the Customer once a quote has been approved). Other sheets will be lists (where all my data validation lists will be added), Quotation Report (this will be the list of all quotations, number, customer, haulier, value, status etc).

I will be adding macro buttons for Print to PDF, New quotation, Add to Report, Save Quotation

My question is there a way to add a recall a quotation? So if for instance I quote a customer under quote ref: Q24-0001. But we keep using the database for new quotes and add another 7 or 8 quotes before we win Q24-0001 .... now I want to recall that specific quotation in the same database so I can then build the Transport order and booking confirmation.

I don't want to have to save each individual quote as a new worksheet every time as this takes up a lot of space and we needs to track all orders. I am just at the layout stage so don't want to go to far down the rabbit hole if its not possible? TBH I honestly don't know if it is possible? Please help :)
