Hi, I have 3 workbooks and they each have a doughnut chart. I need to place each chart onto a worksheet in a 4th Workbook. I can copy and paste the charts and that works while the other workbooks are open but once they are closed the copied charts will not update. Is there a way to get the copied charts in the 4th workbook to update automatically even with the source workbooks closed. Thanks

Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.

Just to clarify, if the 4th workbook is closed and updates are made to the other workbooks which are then closed and the 4th workbook opened the updates will not show on the 4th workbook. But if all workbooks are open then it works fine. Thanks.
