hello, I'm trying to insert a blank row after each sub-total in my pivot table however, excel is instead inserting a blank row after each row/entry. How can i fix that?

Excel Facts

Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.
I guess, this should work fine. Select the field (where you have subtotal) and in the field settings check insert blank line after each item label.
And if this is what you did, maybe you can share a sample data set and a screenshot of your pivot lay-out.
