Placing actual formula in a cell not it's result using vba

I'm trying to place this formula

=IF(COUNTIF($D$1:D1,"="&D1)>1,TRUE,FALSE)

in a cell. I'm using

Range("F1").Formula = "=IF(COUNTIF($D$1:D1,"="&D1)>1,TRUE,FALSE)"

but instead of the formula it's placing it's result.

This formula will eventually be copied down to the last row of a variable $D$1:D...nth row.

You don't actually need the IF, you can just use

Range("F1").Formula = "=COUNTIF($D$1:D1,""=""&D1)>1"

Thanx for the quick reply, as it seems my error was putting the ""=""& part. Stupid me.

It is not the =D1 part that was wrong, it's just that you need to double-up the quotes as I showed.
