Hi all,

I am relatively new to Powerpivot and need some help with creating a calculated field.

In my powerpivot data set I have rows of data broken down by days and hours like the below.

I require a pivot table that would work out the number of calls that WERE NOT placed on hold for the entire day. I need the pivot or powerpivot to work this out as I do not want to be creating new rows in the raw data as this is updated regulalry.

How can I go about creating a calculated field that will do this for me?

Thanks,

James

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
I require a pivot table that would work out the number of calls that WERE NOT placed on hold for the entire day.

if I assume you mean for "not placed on hold" means the difference between the columns and "all day means to sum 5, 5, and 24 respectively, then this calculated field (measure) will do it

not on hold = sumx(table, table[number of calls] - table[number of calls on hold])
