Hye

I have two large .avi files for movies.

I am having trouble playing, renaming or deleting the file.

When i double click on it nothing happens and cant play the file. When i start VLC media player and select open from menu and then select the file i get an error saying "file name is not valid". I am suspecting that this is due to very very long file name.

So i want to rename the file. to do this i tried to right click on file but i only get a very limited right click menu. It doesnt include cut, copy, rename, delete or properties button.

I havent tried dos because neither do i know the commands to do it and secondly i dont know dos names of the files (cant right click and see in properties)

Any ideas on this!!!!!!

Many Thanks
