Hi, I am trying to get the data from a sharepoint excel file to a local excel file (located in my laptop). I tried to use the "Take" function with the data on the sharepoint folder with counta and it works. However, the syntax is too long because of the URL from the sharepoint link has too many folders that I cannot restructure because of company rules. My question is is there a way to shorten the syntax of my "Take" function by using cell referencing as shown in the image? and I need it to work even if the excel file is close. Thanks.

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
If the other workbook is closed then you will need to stick with what you've got.
