Hello, I tried the suggestions in a similar thread and had not have any luck.

I created a .xlxs file and need to save as a text tab delimited file (.txt) to upload to a website.
all my data is saved as text.
It all look great, but when I convert, about every third line gets some extra quotation marks in it and the formatting goes all skewed.
I tried save as txt, and also tried the text import wizard.

You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
If you post using XL2BB anyone trying to help you won't have to try to replicate and/or retype the data.

hmm, looks normal. is that comma delimited? I still can't figure out why I am getting the quotations in the tab delimited test file. i will try and get that add on loaded so I can improve my post and people can see my actual data. thank you

Yes, it's comma delimited. Maybe the issue is with the macro you're using to save the sheet as a text file.
