Dear all,

Im dealing with an issue regarding currency cell formating.
I have a table with a column that has cells with USD and EUR currency formatting.
When i apply vlookup or index&match in another cell to get the data from the origin sheet, the value will be displayed without the currency format from the origin sheet.

To format my destination cell will not work since the original cell has 2 types of currency and im dealing with thousands of records and i cant go individually format each cell at destination.
So i was wondering if there is any way that i can pull the data along with the source cell currency formating as well?

I'll be really grateful for any help on this matter.

Last used cell?
Press Ctrl+End to move to what Excel thinks is the last used cell.
Can I ask why you don't have currency indicated in a separate column?

Hi Glenn, the reason why is because the data i have is an export from an software the company uses to keep track of invoicing... and any solution to split the currency into 2 columns will not work for me.

In what file format does the export come? Also, explain why splitting the amount into value and currency will not work for you - this is literally the way every other data processing in Excel I've seen involving multiple currencies works - and I've seen a lot of data in a lot of companies over several decades.
